As a present to myself after I finished my thesis and became an architect, I bought my first camera.
I took a trip to Cuba, and the experience of street photography there was so good that I started to do it obsessively, all the time, when I returned.
This is when I layed the groundwork for Territories, and for everything else. Learning to use my camera by doing street photography all the time, in black and white. These photographs are from these first two years.
